Parents and Carers - Children's Mental Health Week 2021
The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is "Express Yourself". Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk

Self-Care for Parents/Carers:

Finding time for yourself is a real challenge during this national lockdown. Juggling family & relationships with your home and work life doesn't really leave room for anything else.  This can be especially true if you are supporting a child or young person with their mental health. Make time for yourself, ensure that you look after your well-being as well as that of your children.  There's some tips on self care for parents and carers on the Anna Freud website. Be kind to yourself.  https://www.annafreud.org/parents-and-carers/self-care-for-parents-and-carers/
