Miss Royal, our Careers Co-ordinator, writes....
"Last week a group of our Year 9 students took part in a live employer Q&A session organised by Speakers for Schools. A number of our students were picked to ask representatives from Gamma, United Utilities and Victrex questions about their green careers but also finding out what they are doing to make their businesses and services more environmentally friendly. This was a great opportunity for our students to hear about future jobs and linking careers to the curriculum at the same time. Many of our students are extremely passionate about caring for our environment and hearing potential careers such as Environmental Outreach Officer and Land Management Strategist, definitely helped them see how their passion can become their career. Thank you Speakers for Schools for arranging this opportunity and enthusing our students to green careers."
