Matthew Winstone, who was Head Boy at Walton-le-Dale a few years ago, has been named as the Construction/Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year at the Lancashire Apprenticeship Awards 2022. Matthew is now at Blackburn College and works for Places for People. He was recognised for going above and beyond, for the quality of his work and for stepping up when needed.
