Many congratulations to Charlotte Waite (Chair), Daisy Nuttall (Speaker) and Charlotte Cirino (Vote of Thanks) on their victory in the Rotary Youth Speaks Area Competition on Tuesday 14th January. Daisy spoke on the subject "My experience matters" about autistic spectrum disorder and the three girls were confident, articulate and convincing speakers. Many thanks to Mrs Cox and Miss Christian who train the Public Speaking teams at Walton-le-Dale.
The team will now go on to represent the area in the District competition on Sat Feb 8th at Windermere School following in the footsteps of other Public Speaking teams from Walton-le-Dale.
