Mrs Eastham writes "Ethan Standen was awarded the Unit Chairman’s award by the Mayor of Blackburn and Darwen on Tuesday evening. He was awarded this for taking part in all activities in Blackburn Royal Marines and Sea Cadets and helping out across the section. Ethan works really hard at cadets and this gives him a real insight into the Royal Marines. He completes things such as Field craft, Physical training such as swimming and Personal Training qualifications. He is taking part in the HMS Temeraire which is the home base of Physical Training and going down to Trafalgar Square hopefully to take part in National events."
