I have just received this lovely message from the mother of Josh Bell, a recent ex-student...
"Hi Mr Harris
I thought you and the school, especially Josh’s former teachers and assistants, would love to know about this.
Josh has been studying Level 1/2 BTEC Golf Studies at Myerscough for 2 weeks now. He’s loving it and has really settled in well.
He’s also part of an online golfing community called #Golfmates. There are many videos of him on You Tube playing golf with the lads that create the You Tube videos and organise “Golfmates” events.
Josh was given a lovely surprise on Friday. A Golfmate in the USA has sponsored Josh to go and play golf in Florida next March (all flights, accommodation and green fees paid for). I’ve enclosed the Twitter link to the video below, which captures how it came about and shows him discovering the exciting news.
I’m sure some of your staff would love to see this and it may be worth mentioning in your news letter? It’s always nice to pass on good news and such kindness.
