Samuel Cunliffe (Y10) is a very successful kart racer whose successes we have often celebrated on our website. We have just received this great news from his mother...
"Thought you'd like to know that Samuel had another podium finish this weekend in the last race of the 2018 BirelArt UK Championship. He qualified 2nd but with challenging weather conditions, he made a few mistakes which cost him places during the heat and pre-final, but still managed to set the fastest lap during the heat. He started the final in 9th place and made his way through the field to finish 3rd which was his 3rd podium place of the year. He finished 6th in the Championship despite a difficult start to the year when his kart got flipped.
He is looking forward to 2019 when the championship becomes the Daniel Riccardo Series UK
