It was great to receive the following message from John Gibson
"I am a member of the Bamber Bridge Football Club Committee responsible for arranging kids mascots and young volunteers when we are supporting local charities.
Gem Hadlington one of your pupils who is a member of the Junior Squash & Racketball Club I run at Leyland Leisure Centre helped me as a young volunteer at our pre-season match against Preston North End on Friday 7th July for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Unfortunately St Catherine’s Hospice were unable to get one of their volunteers down to the match so I asked Jem’s parents if he would like to help me.
His dedication and commitment as a young volunteer was a shining example of what our youngsters do nowadays."
