Image of Year 11 Basketball team take on Hutton at home

Team member Noah M writes...

"Hutton Grammar School came to Bamber Bridge to take on the Walton Wolves on Monday in a game that would provide great entertainment. A fiery first quarter would end with the scores level and after a fast paced second quarter Hutton had a slim lead going into the break. The third quarter began bringing basket after basket for both teams as the game went up to an exhilarating pace, but Hutton would take a four point lead going into the final quarter with the game still hanging in the balance. An early push for points meant Hutton's lead grew and with the chance of a positive result growing smaller by the second the team still fought for every chance they could. Walton did score a basket late on and began to take control of the game, but time wasn't on their side and the game would end with a respectable score of 29-36 with Chester S leading the scoring with 16 points and Noah S scoring an exceptional 8 points. A massive improvement from the game last year with the team still having a chance of victory for all 4 quarters. A brave and fearless performance just missing the desired result."

Well done everyone!
