Amnesty Club put together their thoughts and ideas to create a remembrance speech.
They gathered staff and students at lunch time to read out speeches, poems and reflections and gathered around their peace pole for a moment's reflection.
We need to remember.
We remember those who gave their lives so that we may live in peace and freedom.
We remember all those in war who are exploited and mistreated.
We remember all those who fell on all sides of conflicts, enemies, foes, friends , allies . They are all human.
We remember all those who have sacrificed their lives or have been affected by war, PTSD, families, victims, refugees, child soldiers.
We remember how privileged we are to live in peace and with freedom.
