"Year 8 welcomed the Chief Executive of "One Fylde" this week in assembly. Tracey Bush came to talk to the students about "One Fylde" which is a charity which supports adults with learning disabilities across the Fylde area live independently. This assembly was organised as just one part of the wider careers curriculum all students engage with.
Tracey shared her career story showing students that success comes from hard work, taking opportunities when ever they arise and finding work that you love providing student with an aspirational role model.
Tracey also went on to talk about careers in social care something she is very passionate about.
We were really pleased to have Tracey at Walton-Le-Dale and hope she can return to support our careers programme in the future."
