It was lovely to be able to give our wonderful Year 11 group a suitable send-off on Friday afternoon. The weather was just about ok so a barbecue and inflatables on the field could go ahead! Some students finished their assessments in the morning and then a final assembly was held, with all the appropriate awards (!). The whole of Year 11 then had a party on the field - music, inflatables, a barbecue and lots of farewells!
Some of the photos from the event are below. This year group give us all hope - they have proved to be resilient, mature and independent beyond what any of us could have expected. They are a credit to themselves, their families and the school and we know that, having overcome the tremendous difficulties of the last 15 months, they are in a good position to be successful in the future,
