Tributes to Captain Tom

During the most recent lockdown, KS3 Art students were set the challenge of creating their own tributes to Captain Sir Tom Moore in the form of a portrait in any style and in any medium they chose.

It was wonderful to see the ambition and the confidence that students showed though their submissions. Students worked in a range of different sizes, with some even choosing to work on canvas.

Staff in the Art department were impressed with the range of different approaches and skills demonstrated.

If you were not able to complete a portrait, Mr Sharples and Mr Cassidy have both produced videos to demonstrate the process. Why not have a go during the Easter break?
