Samuel's family's report says "Tough but rewarding day at Glan-Y-Gors Park in the second round of the Daniel Ricciardo Series UK Championship. This was a different format to previous races as this didn't have a qualifying session so all three heats were random grid places and the finishing results determined where I started in the final. Heat 1, he started 14th and finished 7th; heat 2 started 3rd and won; heat 3, started 18th and made his way up to 10th.
This meant he started the final in 3rd place and managed to finish the race in third, earning a podium spot. He really enjoyed the mixed grids and now is in third place in the championship after two rounds at one of his least favourite tracks.
Now on to Shennington Kart Track mid June for round three where he won the E Plate in 2017. Mixed grids again and should be a good race."
Well done and good luck, Samuel!
