Mrs Scargill took a group of Year 8 students to participate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities. She reports that "Students learned the theories behind STEM, in particular engineering and energy transfers. They then put this in to practice by building solar powered cars, which they raced, key rings which they engraved themselves plus torches, again all made by the students. They were all fantastic, very engaged and enthusiastic - an absolute pleasure!"
Well done everyone and thanks to Runshaw College!
