Miss Bailey, Head of Year 7, reports that "Reuben Gould has won the Rock FM Time to shine award in the category of ‘Child of Courage’ due to raising £450 for CLIC Sargent. This is a charity that helps children who live with cancer. Reuben lost both his grandads within 9 months of each other, and due to the stress Reuben developed alopecia. He said he felt so much better and confident when his hair had grown back, but sadly children with cancer wouldn’t be as lucky to have their hair back. He then decided to shave his head for charity and raise money and awareness for the charity."
