The Duke of Edinburgh season got off to a great start in the Trough of Bowland this weekend. The first 25 students had an early start on Saturday morning. The reality of walking long distances with heavy back packs was quickly realised by many. The weather was perfect and the students worked hard developing their map reading and camp craft skills.
