Schools from across Chorley and South Ribble competed in the annual "Out of this World" Technology Competition sponsored by BAE Systems and organised by the Rotary Club. The task involved building and testing, from scratch, a satellite that could fly into the air, reach a certain height and then safely descend with the aid of a parachute.
Winners were our Walton-le-Dale team of Year 9 students - congratulations to them and to Mr Hull, Head of Technoogy! An outstanding performance!
