Sam Hodkinson competed in the 2018 Lancashire Cross Country Championships at Witton Park on Saturday 6th January and came 2nd! Sam runs for Blackburn Harriers and his team won the U15 event. Sam has been selected to represent Lancashire in the Inter Counties Cross Country Championships on Saturday 10th March at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough.
Sam's family say "He ran a great race yesterday and we are very pleased that his hard work and determination are paying off. He has been very sensible about his preparation and disciplined about his school work. We would like to thank Walton-le-Dale for all the support and encouragement that Sam receives in his athletics and for playing a large part in helping him to become a well-rounded, mature, young man."
