Rebecca has worked very hard from April until September this year helping a business raise money for the East Lancs Hospice Corporate Challenge. Rebecca has been bag packing in Marks & Spencer’s, collecting money in the shopping centre, been to the world gravy wrestling championship collecting entrance fees amongst other things. The business only employs 6 people and was competing against Royal Bank of Scotland, Tesco and others which had many more employees.
Rebecca sacrificed many weekends to help the business and the charity, and helped them to win the challenge.
Rebecca's mother says "I am so very proud of Rebecca and her contribution, as it was her choice to help. Thank you to everyone at Walton le Dale who has given my daughter the skills and confidence to make a difference in her local community".
