** !! ** Year 9 Parents & Carers' Evening on Wed 10th February: The information about this has been sent out today and can be found on the website at https://www.waltonledale.lancs.sch.uk/parents/parents-carers-evenings. We had a technical hitch (a problem with the settings) in the first hour or two where parents could only book one appointment - that was solved by 11.45am. Apologies for any inconvenience caused - it is our first time through this....
Key worker and vulnerable student provision: We will be checking uniform, equipment & books tomorrow. If your child has an incorrect item of uniform please make sure that they have a note with the reason. Thank you.
** !! ** Blackburn buses: From Monday we will be running one bus from Blackburn - the "500 Special". The route is on the website and all Blackburn families who are accessing our provision have been contacted directly. The 505 Preston bus will run as normal.
Holocaust Memorial Day: Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. Mrs Main, our Head of Humanities, has kindly produced a presentation which you will find here. This has been emailed to all students and staff to encourage us to reflect.
Update frequency: As this lockdown continues the need for daily updates reduces so I will be updating you at least once a week, but possibly not every day going forward. Should there be matters requiring your urgent attention I will of course be updating you that day.
