Good afternoon,
Study work from previous weeks: Please be aware that all work from previous weeks can be accessed on the website at this link here. We have had a few queries from students over the last couple of days wanting to catch up with missed work which is great, but everything is available on the website.
Politics: I appreciate that there have been a lot of news items about education and schools over the last couple of days. We will continue to do the very best that we can for all our community within the boundaries that we are given by the government and the local authority. I will continue to keep you updated, day by day, on developments!
Alzheimer's Cupcake Day: This is the message that Miss Bailey, Head of Year 7, sent all of us on the staff....!
This Saturday, 13th June, is Alzheimer’s Cupcake day!
Due to not being at school I can’t raise money in the usual way... so I was thinking of doing something virtual to raise some money.
I am therefore asking you to give baking a go this week and perhaps video yourself. If I get enough videos back I could edit these together and make a little video of us all. This could then be shared out and we could see how many donations we get in!
The idea is, if you bake, you donate. I have set up a JustGiving page to do this.
If you don’t want to bake, but still wish to donate that is fine - link here

I was thinking of having a little competition for best and worse looking cake....There will be a prize!!!
So make sure you send in your pictures.
You could even make a little competition within your households!
I look forward to seeing some cakes!
If you would like to support Miss Bailey and the rest of us please use the Justgiving link above!
Best wishes
