Home study for next week: The study schedule can be found on the website here - just click on the right year group. It has been attached to the email version of this update and emailed directly to the students. Please encourage your son or daughter to get in touch with their teachers by email if they need assistance with their work - the teaching staff are there to help them.
FutureU: This is an organisation who have worked extensively with our students. They are putting resources online - for example this introduction to university https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nduNUxPxDKo
Year 11 Hoodies: These have now arrived and have been put into named bags. Given the current situation we will hold onto these while the pandemic eases - there is no pressure to collect them. If parents/carers or students wish to collect them then they may do so on the days that Ms Jackson (who has overseen the ordering process) is in school. The next 2 occasions are Monday 18th May (next Monday) and Thursday 28th May. Collection will be available between 9am and 2.30pm. We will make practical arrangements so that social distancing can be maintained during collection.
Year 10 Parents Evening - cancelled: This was due to be next Wednesday (20th). Under the current circumstances it cannot take place. Following government guidance we are making plans to see something of our Year 10s to support their remote learning - more information will follow in the coming weeks as we receive further national and local information and guidance.
