10 February 2023
Thank you to all the parents & carers who attended the Progress Evening for Year 9 on Wednesday. It was a pleasure to talk to so many of you.
All years
- Absence Reporting Procedure using Classcharts: Please can we ask that you continue to use the Classcharts Absence reporting tool to report your child's absence by no later than 8.45am. Further information can be found on the website here.
- FSM Vouchers: The Free school meal vouchers have been awarded for the half-term break; £15 per student. Please make sure you check your junk/spam folders.
- Information available: Please see our website link here for information for parents and carers regarding the cost of living crisis, Yubo and Warm Food.
- South Ribble Half-term activities: Please see link here for activities in the South Ribble area next week.
- Strike action by the National Education Union (NEU): The next day of this strike action is planned to be Tuesday 28th February. The majority of our teachers belong to this union so the school will be closed to students on that day unless the strike is called off. Teachers who are not on strike will teach their lessons remotely via Teams following their normal timetables.
Wishing all our students a good half-term break and I look forward to seeing everyone back at the normal time on Monday 20 February,
Best wishes
