We have reached the end of another busy term!  Each term this year feels as if we are getting back to something a bit more like normal. Year 11s are in the final preparation mode for their upcoming GCSEs, everyone else is making steady progress in lessons and it has been lovely to see extra-curricular clubs, activities and some trips come back to life....

All years

  • Vaccinations for 12-15 year olds - the in-school vaccinations has now ended  but parents can still book appointments online - please see link here: book COVID-19 vaccination appointments online, at a vaccination centre or pharmacy, or find a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination site without needing an appointment. Appointments and walk-ins can be accessed for 12 to 15 year olds now, and bookings will open up for 5 to 11 year olds from the beginning of April.
  • Online Safety Newsletter:  Please see the link on our website here for the current Online Safety Newsletter
  • Free School Meals: If your child is entitled to free school meals, you should receive the email from Edenred today.  The amount will be £55 per student to cover the Easter break.  Please note that these will be the final vouchers as the government funded has ended.

Year 8

  • When we return after Easter, (Tuesday 19th April) - Year 8 will be undergoing assessments in some of their lessons - their teachers will have informed them of the details.

Year 9

  • The vaccination team will be in school on Thursday, 28th April to administer the HPV 2nd dose.

Year 10

  • Enterprise Trip: Students who take Enterprise have been invited to attend a trip to the Trafford Centre on 28th June.  Details have been emailed out to those parents today.
  • Examinations: Please see the link on our website here for the timetable for the upcoming Year 10 examinations which commence on Monday, 25th April.

Year 11

  • Easter School: This will take place between Monday 4th and Thursday, 7th April and will run from 10am to 2.30pm. Parents should have received an email with the bus routes for next week but these can also be found on the website here

I am looking forward to seeing everyone back at the normal time on Tuesday 19 April.  Have a very happy Easter!

Best wishes
