Main Characters: Lucy, her dad, Meghan and her mum.

Main Plot: Lucy’s dad is abusive towards her mum and Lucy can’t pluck up the courage to stand up to him.

Good Points: ‘I like that there is a twist, half-way through!’

Would have liked it more if…: ‘It could be improved by having a twist ending, living up to the blurb.’

Grade: Excellent/Good/Fair/Uninteresting
